Coping with Stomach Problems
- Eat a balanced diet. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of clear fluids.
- Avoid foods that trigger upset stomach (i.e., beans, bananas, carbonated beverages, cabbage, cauliflower).
- Fructose and sorbitol can also cause bloating and diarrhea.
- Antacids may offer relief.
- If needed, your doctor can prescribe medicine for these side effects.
