Things to Do When You Are Feeling Low

  • Talk to close family or friends who can offer you advice or assistance.
  • Seek out activities and people who can actively help you have a positive outlook on life.
  • If you feel depressed or anxious, your doctor will discuss other treatment options with you.
  • Don't allow yourself to be dragged down by others (or yourself) into a spiral of negative thinking. Negative thought patterns are another fast track to feeling low.
  • Whenever you begin to have negative feelings, start focusing on the good things in your life, and be grateful for the many blessings you have.
